Bio:
Rouba Al Dalati Al-Rafei, the candidate for the Sunnite seat in Tripoli in brief.

She is the daughter of the city of Tripoli and she grew up in Abi Samra. Her late father is Professor Abdel Rahman Al Dalati, a physics teacher at the House of Islamic Education and many other schools and high schools in Tripoli. Her mother is Mrs. Mariam Taj El Din, the schoolteacher then principal at the Princess Nasab School in Abi Samra.

She graduated from the National Girls Orthodox School, and then pursued her studies to graduate from the Faculty of Engineering at the Lebanese University in Tripoli. She was granted a scholarship at the Lebanese University for her excellence, so she continued her studies in France where she earned a PHD in Civil Engineering.

She returned to Lebanon due to her attachment to her Motherland and her passion towards public affairs where she feels the urge to contribute in her country and region's renaissance.

She married Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb Al Rafei, a professor who once was the director of the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University in Tripoli.

Currently, she is a professor at the Lebanese University where she lectures at the Faculty of Engineering in Tripoli and supervises the researches that she undertakes with her students. Additionally, she is the Engineering Department President for the second time and the Development Engineering Studies Unit President at the Center of Engineering Studies and Research affiliated to the Faculty of Engineering.

She has conducted many researches published in international scientific magazines and conferences.
