The political activist, Neamat Badreddine, is considered one the most prominent leadership faces who appeared in the Lebanese public struggles for change since 2006. She employed her academic studies, that included Political Sciences, Diplomatic and International Relations, Social Politics as well as Psychology, in her pursue to raise political and militant awareness and establish militant frames, including but not limited to, the "People demand the end of Lebanon's confessional system" campaign in 2011 and the "No to extensions" campaign in 2013. In addition, she founded the "Badna Nheseb" (We want to hold accountable) group in 2015, down to the launch and founding of "Waey" (Awareness) political movement.
Neamat Badreddine is distinguished by her bold speech and clear positions towards different cases. Moreover, she developed a confrontational style against the authorities corruption based on physical and coherent files, including but not limited to, independence of the judiciary, providing awareness of the regulatory bodies importance, the Litani file, the waste file, etc. Her struggle succeeded in retrieving the communication sector to the state after reigns of corruption under the management of the private sector that is supported by politicians.
Despite her interest in participating in the parliamentary elections, Neamat Badreddine focuses on building an alternative and capable political power based on what the October 17 Revolution has revealed from huge potential in the Lebanese community. Moreover, she imposes herself as a political/popular partner in building Lebanon's future in light of the regional and international changes and their impositions of challenges on Lebanon's role and position.
